Labs and Vaccines

Visit Quest or LabCorp for tests. Get required vaccines at a pharmacy or health department.

Form Completion

Once labs and vaccines are complete, your sealed I-693 Form is finalized for USCIS submission.

NO, effective January 22, 2025, USCIS waived the requirement for immigration medical exam (Form I-693) applicants to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. To schedule your visit, book an appointment.

As of April 4, 2024, USCIS announced that any Form I-693 signed by a civil surgeon on or after Nov 1, 2023 does not expire and may be used indefinitely as proof you meet health-related requirements.

No fasting is required. You may eat normally before your exam and labs.

Yes. Lab results are valid for 30 days due to the nature of infectious disease testing. If your results expire, we can help you retest quickly.

Ages 2–17: Tuberculosis (TB) blood test.
Ages 18–24: Syphilis, Gonorrhea, TB.
Ages 25–44: Syphilis, TB.
Ages 45+: TB only. Need to start? Complete the new patient form.

No. We can perform blood titer tests to confirm immunity (varicella, measles, mumps, rubella).

Immunizations vary by age. Your civil surgeon will review the Required Immunizations list for your case.

September 1 until March 31 each year.

Many plans cover flu and Tdap shots at retail pharmacies. Some plans may also cover lab work.

After filing your initial application, USCIS will provide specific instructions on when and how to submit Form I-693.

Reports are usually ready within 7 days of the initial appointment.
